Four actors from the same supporting cast have pages here, and the differences between those four pages say more than any of them says alone.

Guo Zongxu is the one with the most on record: a birth date in July 2002, and an English credit name, Jackie Guo, used alongside the Chinese one. He plays Qi Haoyu on the tea mountain side of A Winter Sun Wakes the Wind in Spring Hills’ Dream.

An English credit name in a Chinese production is a decision about audience. It is chosen when someone expects international viewers to need a handle they can type, and in a genre that reaches most of its audience outside the country, that expectation is usually correct. Two of his four castmates on this site have one. Two do not.

Beyond that there is nothing verifiable: no agency, no earlier credit, no training. Chinese BL productions generate very little citable press, and the gap on this page is the shape of that problem rather than a gap in the research.

One more thing the record does show, indirectly. The series sets a tea mountain against the entertainment industry, which is not where BL normally happens. The genre lives on campuses and in offices, and a rural production setting means location shooting, a larger ensemble and more supporting parts than a two-hander needs. That is the kind of production a new actor gets hired into.
