Why this site exists
I have been watching BL and GL since around 2021. The thing I kept running into was that there was no single place built for it. General film and television databases carry these shows, but they carry them the way they carry everything else: a title, a cast list, a date. Nobody was treating BL and GL as a subject in its own right, with the pairings, the studios, the source novels and the release patterns that actually matter to the people watching.
So I started building the thing I wanted to use. Something closer to what IMDb is for film, but for this. One place where I could look up a series, see who is in it, see what else those actors have done, see which pairing carries it, and find where it can legally be watched. If it was useful to me, it seemed likely to be useful to other people watching the same shows.
That is the whole idea, and the catalogue is as complete as I have been able to make it. It grows when there is enough verified material to justify a new record, not before.
How I work
The full method is set out on the About page. In short:
- Structural data comes from TMDB, and anything TMDB cannot settle is checked against the producer, network or publisher’s own material. Where the two conflict, the official source wins.
- A field I cannot verify is left blank rather than estimated. An empty birth date on this site means no admissible source states it.
- Where credible sources disagree, the page says so instead of quietly picking one.
- Nothing private goes on a profile. For anyone who appears to be a minor, birth dates, measurements, schools, addresses and social accounts are omitted entirely, whatever other sites publish.
- Images come from official or licensed sources only, are hosted here rather than hotlinked, and are credited in the caption.
- Age guidance on title pages is my own editorial classification. It is not a certificate from any ratings board.
Why a pen name
I publish under a pen name rather than my legal name. It is used consistently: this is the only name that appears anywhere on this site, and the address below reaches me directly. If something here is wrong, write to it and I will check it against the sources and fix it.
No commercial relationships
I have no affiliation, partnership or sponsorship arrangement with any studio, agency, distributor or streaming service mentioned on this site. Nothing here is paid placement, and no rating has ever been influenced by anyone outside this site.
