Millions of people can recognise this voice. Almost none of them could pick out the man.

Zhang Jie, credited as Ajie, voices Wei Wuxian across the three seasons of the Mo Dao Zu Shi donghua and its chibi spin-off Mo Dao Zu Shi Q. For a large share of the international danmei audience that performance is the character, more so than any live-action version.

Voice work is documented by role rather than by performer, which is why a page for someone this established stays short. He has been working since the 2000s across animation and audio drama, most of it outside anything this catalogue covers, and this site records only what it can verify against an official source. The result is a page that under-represents him on purpose rather than by neglect.

There is a wider point in that. Danmei reached the world through animation and audio at exactly the period when live-action adaptation became difficult, and the people who carried it across were voice actors. They are consistently the least credited part of that story.
