A director took someone from a travel show and put him in a drama. That is the whole route, and it is more common than casting notices admit.

F4 Perawitch Chotimanon was a regular on Boys Lost in Thailand in 2025, a multinational travel reality programme directed by Pepzi Banchorn Vorasataree. In 2026 he made his scripted debut as Richy, one of the Moonlight Bar hosts in Love of Silom, under the same director.

Directors who work across formats carry people with them. They have watched someone hold attention for weeks without a script, which tells them more about presence than an audition does, and they already know whether that person turns up on time. For an actor with no drama credits, being the director’s known quantity is worth more than a showreel.

He is from Uttaradit, in the north, and finished school in Chiang Mai in 2022, both of which are on the record. What is not is an agency. For someone one credit into a scripted career that is unremarkable, and the slot stays blank here instead of being padded out with the production company’s name, which is a different thing entirely.
