A university band, an architecture degree, a record label, and then a BL series eighteen years later.

Taofa Maneeprasopchok fronted CU Band while studying architecture at Chulalongkorn, which is a specific kind of credential in Thailand: the student band is a known route into the industry rather than a hobby. His acting started there too, with Reya the Musical. He then joined New Folder, signed to Garden Music under RS, one of the two labels that shaped Thai pop for a generation.

So by the time he turns up as Ice in Love of Silom in 2026, he is a man in his late thirties with a music career behind him, cast into a genre built around performers half his age. BL productions need that layer and cannot grow it internally.

The record has a birth date, an education and a documented band history, and no agency, no start year and no second screen credit. That combination usually means someone whose public record was written by the music press rather than the entertainment press, and the two do not track the same facts.
