BIOGRAPHY
Yusuke Sato (Japanese: 佐藤友祐; born June 11, 1996) is a Japanese actor and singer affiliated with Avex. He was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, and trained at Actors Studio Hokkaido before entering the entertainment industry.
Sato won the Actor Division Grand Prize at “avex audition MAX 2013,” which launched his professional career. In 2014 he joined the five-member mixed vocal-and-dance group lol (エルオーエル) under avex trax, combining music activities with acting and modeling from that point on.
His acting credits include the BS-TBS drama Akuma Shoukan (2015), the dTV series Shingeki no Kyojin (2015), the film Ichireishite, Kiss (2017) as Kouhei Shiraishi, the theatrical release of Rikekoi (2019), The Land Beyond the Starry Sky (2021) as Makoto Ozaki, the lead role of Naoya Shinomiya in Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice but to Kiss! (2022), You Want Me to Steal You (2023) as Minaki Aoi, and Single8 (2023) as Terao. In 2026 he took the lead role of Zen Shido in the boys’ love drama Fake Fact Lips, adapted from Machi Suehiro’s manga of the same name, opposite Kaito Hori as Ryo Yotsuya.
Beyond acting, Sato has released photobooks, including his 2020 debut title gift, and continues to pursue music, modeling, and stage work alongside his acting career as a member of lol.
