Zhang Ruiyi
BIOGRAPHY
Zhang Ruiyi (张睿怡), also credited as Chloe Zhang, is a Chinese actor born in Shanxi. She has four screen credits, all between June 2025 and July 2026, and two of them are queer drama.
She plays Xu Nuo across all twelve episodes of Lost to You (沦陷), which ran from 15 May to 3 July 2026, a China and Singapore co-production released by GagaOOLala about a teenager who returns home with terminal brain cancer and forms a bond with a classmate the town treats as unlucky. Earlier in 2026 she played Jiang Wan in Candy (糖果), an eight-episode Girls’ Love series produced in Singapore by Circular Entertainment Limited and also released by GagaOOLala, in which a woman’s first love reappears in her life as her assistant and the two leave the city for a rural reality show.
Her other two credits are mainland Chinese short-form dramas for Tencent Video. Above the Clouds (云天之上) ran twenty-four episodes across a fortnight in mid-2025, a xianxia costume romance in which she plays Yao Sheng. Fireworks (焰火) ran twenty-four episodes across a single week in spring 2026, a body-possession story in which she plays Wen Li.
BLGLFlix editorial view
The finding worth carrying off this page is about Singapore. Candy is a Singaporean production in Chinese, Lost to You is a China-Singapore co-production, and both were released internationally by GagaOOLala, the Taiwanese LGBTQ+ platform. Singapore is not a place anyone thinks of first when they think about Chinese-language queer drama, and here are two of them inside six months from one performer’s filmography.
Set beside the rest of this database, the GagaOOLala pattern becomes hard to miss. A Winter Sun Wakes the Wind in Spring Hills’ Dream is a mainland Chinese BL on GagaOOLala. The Summer You Kissed Me is an independent mainland Chinese BL on GagaOOLala. Candy is a Singaporean GL on GagaOOLala. Lost to You is a China-Singapore GL and BL on GagaOOLala. Four unconnected productions from three different origins, one Taiwanese platform carrying all of them to an international audience. That is a distribution structure, and a database watching only mainland platforms will see none of it.
The other half of her filmography is worth a note for a different reason. Above the Clouds ran twenty-four episodes in fifteen days and Fireworks ran twenty-four episodes in seven. Those are not season lengths, they are the daily-release rhythm of the Chinese short-form drama business, where a whole series is written, shot and burned through in a week. She has done two of those and two international queer titles in fourteen months, which is a workload rather than a career arc, and it is an accurate picture of what working in Chinese screen drama looks like for someone at her level.
One thing this page cannot do. Lost to You is tagged by TMDB as both Girls’ Love and Boys’ Love, and its synopsis describes a bond between a dying teenager and a classmate without specifying either. Which thread her character belongs to, or whether the series carries both, is not established, and inferring it from a shared surname or a cast position would be guesswork. The record says she is in it for all twelve episodes, and that is all this page will say.
