One small title carries two of the defining shapes of Chinese queer screen work this decade. It is a Chinese-language BL made by a small independent company, released first as a set of ten-to-sixteen-minute episodes and then recut into a feature, and licensed not to a mainland platform but to a Taiwanese LGBTQ+ streamer that distributes internationally. Short-form-first production and offshore distribution are both here in a single fifty-seven-minute work. This page describes that pattern rather than explaining why it exists, because the honest answer to why involves regulatory questions that cannot be documented here from primary sources.

The two versions are also a genuine cataloguing headache. TMDB carries them as separate records, one television and one film. They are not separate works in any meaningful sense: same cast, same director, same fifty-odd minutes. This site keeps one record, for the series. Treating the film as a new title would inflate his filmography from one work to two; treating them as one and saying nothing would hide a real release that people will search for. So the page states plainly that there is one story in two releases, which is what is true.

The empty half of this page is deliberately not filled with inference. He is credited in one production, one photograph of him exists, and beyond a date of birth the record is blank. A page that reads as short is a more useful page than one padded out with assumptions.
