Fa Xuange
BIOGRAPHY
Fa Xuange (Chinese: 法宣阁) is a Chinese actor. He plays Qin Lang in the 2026 Mandarin-language BL drama Double Helix, which is built on A Round Trip to Love, a danmei novel by Lan Lin.
His credits include Meet You at the Blossom (2024) as Qi Xiaobin, How Can I Love You (2024) as Shen Xun, and I’ll Turn Back This Time (2025) as Jiang Yilin, ahead of his role as Qin Lang in Double Helix (2026). Birth date, hometown, schooling and representation are all unconfirmed. None of them appear in a source this site will accept, so each of those fields is empty here by decision rather than by oversight.
BLGLFlix editorial view
Four credits in three years and every one of them sits in a category that mainland Chinese broadcast regulation does not permit as such. Danmei adaptations are made anyway, shot in China with Chinese casts, then routed to overseas platforms and to audiences who find them regardless. What that produces is a specialised working actor: someone whose entire professional record consists of productions his own domestic television will not carry in the form they were written.
His role points at the structure of the series. Qin Lang is half of a second couple running parallel to the leads, and the younger version of Cheng Yichen is played by a different actor from the one who plays him grown up. A dual-timeline adaptation needs two performers for the same person, and the supporting pairing exists to carry the timeline the leads are not in. It is a demanding thing to cast and an easy thing to get wrong.
The fields on this page that would normally carry a birthday or an agency are empty, and the reasoning is set out on the other Chinese profiles in this catalogue. Nothing here comes from a single unverified database field.
