BIOGRAPHY
Mint Thishar Thurachon (born 17 March 2000) is a Thai actor and model signed to GMMTV. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in language and culture from Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Arts.
Her Girls’ Love lead is Ann in Pluto (นิทาน ดวงดาว ความรัก), the twelve episode GMMTV series that aired on GMM 25 from 19 October 2024, adapted from the novel by Chao Planoy with a screenplay by Kusolin Mekviphat. A second Girls’ Love title, Her (รักของเธอ), is in preparation with Snap25 and GMMTV.
Alongside that she has become a fixture of Thai Boys’ Love. She plays Kratae in That Summer (ผมเจอเจ้าชายบนชายหาด, 2025, ten episodes on ONE 31), Mim in Me and Thee (2025), Duen across the ten episodes of You Maniac (เดี๋ยวจะรักซะให้บ้า, 2026) and appears in the upcoming Gunshot. Outside the genre she has worked on Enigma (2023) and Enigma Black Stage (2025) as MyDay, and carried Phraephrai across twenty-four episodes of Lying (2025).
Six queer credits out of ten, and only two of them are hers
All ten credits were checked individually. Six carry Boys’ Love or Girls’ Love classification. Two of those six are Girls’ Love titles where she is at the centre of the story. The other four are Boys’ Love series where she is not.
BLGLFlix editorial view. This is one of the least examined jobs in the whole genre, and it deserves naming. A Thai Boys’ Love series is a story about two men, and it still needs a full cast around them: friends, sisters, colleagues, rivals, the person who knows before anyone else does. Those parts are largely played by young actors, series after series, and their names almost never leave the production. Fandom discussion of women in Boys’ Love tends to be about whether a female character is an obstacle to the pairing. The industry’s view is much more mundane. These are working roles, and somebody builds a career out of them.
Our own read is that this career is also evidence of something structural. She is at GMMTV, and four Boys’ Love series, two Girls’ Love titles and a twenty-four episode mainstream drama have come to her inside three years. That is the studio-roster system working exactly as described elsewhere in this catalogue: the company casts from its own list, so an actor inside the building gets the queer titles and the general drama in the same breath, without either being treated as a special category. In an industry without that roster she would have had to audition for each of them as a different kind of job.
The order of the credits is the most telling part, because it runs the wrong way round from what you would expect. The Girls’ Love lead came first, in October 2024. The Boys’ Love supporting roles came after it, three of them across 2025 and 2026. An actor who has already carried twelve episodes of her own series is then playing the friend in someone else’s. That is not a demotion, it is arithmetic: Thai Boys’ Love commissions many times more series than Girls’ Love does, so the supporting work in one is simply more available than the lead work in the other. Until that ratio changes, this is what a Thai Girls’ Love lead’s calendar looks like between seasons.
