Keita Kawajiri, born 4 February 1981 in Hokkaido, wrote and directed Cherry Magic The Musical, staged across April 2025 in two rooms, first at Tokyo Dome City Hall and then in Toyohashi. It is the single musical in this catalogue.

Japan’s 2.5-D theatre industry adapts manga, anime and games to the stage at a scale with no real equivalent anywhere else, with its own venues, its own returning audience and a run structure closer to a concert tour than to a play. Kawajiri has worked inside it since founding the unit SUGARBOY in 2008, on Mob Psycho 100, Touken Ranbu, Cardcaptor Sakura and Fate, and on the Aoharu Railroad musicals across eight years.

A stage credit sits awkwardly in a screen database. There is nothing to stream, the work existed for a few weeks in two rooms, and what survives is a cast list, the rooms it played and a handful of dates. Keeping it is the point. The adaptation happened, and a catalogue that counted only things with an episode number would quietly say it did not.
