Choi Young-jae (Korean: 최영재; born 17 September 1996 in Mokpo, South Jeolla), who performs as Youngjae and releases solo music as Ars, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, composer and actor signed to SUBLIME. He plays Nam Byeong-jin in Friendly Rivalry (2025).
He debuted in 2014 as a member of GOT7 and released his first solo mini album, Colors from Ars, on 5 October 2021. His acting work runs alongside the music rather than replacing it.

His credit list runs to thirty-nine entries, and that number is close to useless without a filter. Strip out the variety appearances, the concert films, the GOT7 group content and the shows where the character name is simply his own, and five acting roles remain: Youngjae in the web drama Dream Knight (2015), Sam in So Not Worth It (2021), Kim Seung-hyu in Love & Wish (2021), Jung Haram in the filmed musical Midnight Sun (2021), and Nam Byeong-jin in Friendly Rivalry (2025). Friendly Rivalry is a sixteen-episode South Korean mystery thriller with a girls’ love throughline, and the only title on his record that brings him into this catalogue. Nam Byeong-jin is a figure from co-lead Woo Seul-gi’s past at the orphanage, resurfacing partway through the run to pull her toward more dangerous ground.
