EBiDAN keeps appearing on this site. It is a Japanese collective of dance and vocal groups, and its members turn up across the queer and youth drama records here often enough that it functions as a casting pool as much as a music organisation. A production filling a school or dormitory cast can hire four performers who already rehearse together, already have followings, and are already contractually available. Nothing in the Thai or Korean systems on this site works quite the same way, because those industries route talent through drama studios rather than through music collectives.

There is a smaller connection inside this one series. He has a Takumi-kun Series credit, and so does Rio Takahashi, who plays Sui’s closest friend in the same production. Takumi-kun is one of the oldest continuing Japanese boys’ love franchises, running in film and drama form since the late 2000s, and two members of a 2026 cast having passed through it is a reminder that Japan’s version of this genre has a back catalogue deep enough to have trained people.
