Nut Nathanon Metharathip
BIOGRAPHY
Nathanon Metharathip (Thai: ณฐนน เมธาธราธิป), credited under the nickname Nut, is a Thai actor with two recorded credits, both from 2019 and both boys’ love.
The first is If I Love A Boy, a five-film anthology from Studio Oh Ha Oh that ran from 21 June to 19 July 2019, one short film a week. Each film carries its own title and its own pairing. Nut appears in the fifth and final one, Night Before Everything, opposite Chokun Watcharaphon Suwanrueang. The other four are Mom, Please Do Not Disturb (Son and Pluggy), You Never Eat Alone (Folk and Petch), Hand On Me (Kia and Taro) and Everybody Run (Ball and Poori).
Two months later he appeared as Krapao in Thank God It’s Friday (ขอบคุณวันสุข), a twelve episode boys’ love series that ran on ONE 31 from 24 August to 9 November 2019. The premise is a college music club facing dissolution after a year without results, whose president decides the only way out is to win competitions. Several of his If I Love A Boy castmates appear alongside him, including Pech Sirin Siripanich as Jump, Son Korbboon Garun as Home and Poori Siphrai as Nine.
No further screen credit is documented after 2019. No date of birth, place of birth or agency appears in any source we accept, and no photograph exists on any source this site is licensed to use.
BLGLFlix editorial view
Two credits in one summer, then nothing. That pattern turns up constantly in early Thai BL and it is worth understanding rather than reading as failure. In 2019 the sector was small and largely built on short films and web series, and a production house that made an anthology would cast a group of young actors, put them through a five-film run, and then place several of the same faces into a longer series a few weeks later. That is exactly what happened here: a short film in June, a twelve episode ONE 31 series in August, with castmates carried over. What it did not come with was an agency, a management contract or a career pipeline. When the productions finished, most of the cast simply stopped appearing on screen.
The broadcaster is the part worth noticing. Thank God It’s Friday is a ONE 31 production, and it carries a boys’ love keyword. One31 turns up elsewhere in this database as a Thai broadcaster quietly running a queer slate, from Laws of Attraction in 2023 through Century of Love in 2024 to Flower Boy and The Edge of Horizon in 2026. This credit pushes the same story back to 2019. That is a seven-year record, and it changes the shape of the argument: One31 is not a broadcaster that recently started commissioning BL, it is one that has been doing it since before most of the industry.
A note on the anthology format. If I Love A Boy is five separate short films rather than five episodes of one story, and databases record it as a single five-episode miniseries. That means every actor in it looks, in a credit list, like someone who appeared in one episode of a series, when in fact they carried half of a self-contained film. The individual film is named here for exactly that reason. If you only read the episode count you will misread what the job was.
