BIOGRAPHY

Sorntast Buangam (Thai: สรณ์ธรรศ บัวงาม; born 9 March 1992 in Lopburi), known as Mark, is a Thai actor and presenter with seventeen credits on record. He graduated from Kasem Bundit University’s Faculty of Communication Arts.

His earliest credit is Watching it in Japan, a twenty-two episode programme from 2017. He followed it with a single episode of Tunnel in 2019 as Jay Thana, and then moved into boys’ love in January 2020 as Champ in Why R U?.

Through the early 2020s he worked steadily in short supporting parts: Phop in Y Destiny (2021), Black in Cutie Pie (2022), Krit in Step By Step (2023). His largest role came in February 2023 as Bas across ten episodes of Bed Friend, and he carried the same character into the spin-off The Middleman’s Love in November of that year, appearing in eight of its episodes. Playing one character across two separate series is unusual for a supporting actor in Thai BL, and it is the closest thing on his record to a signature role.

Since then he has played Pie across all twelve episodes of Battle of the Writers (2024), Kla in Khemjira (2025), Ek across seven episodes of Zomvivor (2025), Araya in two episodes of ChermChey (2026) and Thee across all twelve episodes of Your Third, which began on 26 July 2026. A further credit, Restart, is listed without a release date.

He also works in front of the camera as himself. He hosts three episodes of DMD Friendship The Reality and appears as a judge in a fourth, and he features across ten episodes of the 2024 Japanese programme Sawatdee Khrap T-Boys!!, which profiles Thai artists for a Japanese audience.

BLGLFlix editorial view

Seventeen credits going back to 2017, and the two that matter most are the ones least often listed: ten episodes of Bed Friend and eight of The Middleman’s Love, playing the same character in both.

What his record shows that a lead actor’s would not is how a working supporting career in Thai BL is actually assembled. Ten of his credits run to three episodes or fewer. Seven run to seven episodes or more. One is a hosting job on the reality show of the production house he works with. That mix, a run of one and two episode parts punctuated by an occasional full season and paid presenting work in between, is the normal shape of the job, and it is almost never described anywhere because coverage follows the two names at the top of the poster.
