SYNOPSIS

You Are My Present (Japanese: 君は僕へのプレゼント) is a 2025 Boys' Love vertical short-form drama, twenty episodes of roughly a minute each, released in a single drop on 8 August 2025 on the Japanese smartphone platform SWIPEDRAMA.

It is a Japanese-commissioned production shot entirely on location in Thailand with a Thai cast. Tee (Poom Phuripan Sapsangsawat) is a businessman who returns home to sell an old building; Poom (Up Poompat Iam-samang) is the former lover who runs the cafe on its ground floor. There are only two credited performers.

The pairing is a reunion: the two leads first appeared opposite each other in the 2024 Thai series My Stand-In, and the platform marketed this title on that basis.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • Twenty episodes of about a minute each, shot vertically for a phone screen. This is a micro-drama, not a conventional series, and the whole run is roughly the length of one ordinary episode.
  • Released all at once on 8 August 2025. There was no weekly schedule and no broadcast.
  • Japanese platform, Thai production. Commissioned by the Japanese vertical-drama app SWIPEDRAMA and filmed entirely on location in Thailand with a Thai cast.
  • Only two credited performers. The cast list is not incomplete; the work genuinely has a two-hander structure.
  • A reunion of the My Stand-In leads. Up Poompat and Poom Phuripan first played opposite each other in that 2024 series, and this title was marketed on that pairing.
  • The character named Poom is played by the actor called Up, not by the actor called Poom. The names cross over, which is a common source of error.

EDITOR’S VERDICT

Recorded, not yet scored.

This one is worth cataloguing less for what it is than for what it shows. A Japanese app commissioned a Thai BL production, shot it in Thailand with Thai leads borrowed from a hit iQIYI series, cut it into one-minute vertical episodes and dropped all twenty at once. None of those decisions belongs to the format Thai BL has spent a decade building, and the leads themselves said the frame constraints made it feel like different work entirely.

Whether a romance can carry across twenty one-minute fragments is a real question and not a rhetorical one. The two-hander structure at least gives it the best chance: no ensemble, no subplot, nothing to service but the pair.

Not scored. This page was built from the production record rather than from a viewing.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is You Are My Present?

A twenty-episode Boys' Love vertical short-form drama, released on the Japanese smartphone platform SWIPEDRAMA on 8 August 2025. Tee returns home to sell an old building and finds his former lover Poom running the cafe on its ground floor.

Is this a series or a film?

A series, but not a conventional one. It has twenty episodes of roughly a minute each, filmed vertically for a phone screen. The full run is about the length of a single ordinary drama episode.

When was it released?

All twenty episodes were released together on 8 August 2025. There was no weekly schedule, no broadcast slot and no television airing, which is why every episode on this page carries the same date.

Who is in it?

Only two performers are credited. Poom Phuripan Sapsangsawat plays Tee and Up Poompat Iam-samang plays Poom. The short cast list is the actual shape of the work, not a gap in our record.

Wait, which actor plays which character?

The names cross over and this trips people up. The character called Poom is played by the actor nicknamed Up. The character called Tee is played by the actor nicknamed Poom. The producer's own announcement names the two leads and describes the two characters without linking them, so this mapping comes from the credit records rather than from the producer, and we are saying so.

Is this Thai or Japanese?

Both, in different ways. It was commissioned and distributed by a Japanese platform and carries a Japanese title, but it was filmed entirely on location in Thailand with Thai leads. That combination is the actual production structure rather than a data error.

Why is there no Thai title on this page?

Because no official Thai title was published. Two different informal Thai renderings circulate, neither issued by the producer, so we have left the field empty rather than pick one.

What age rating does it carry?

None that we can record. The platform publishes no rating for this title. The app itself carries a store-level age rating for its whole catalogue, but a blanket age gate on an app is not a classification of a particular work, so we have not written one.

Who directed it?

We could not establish this. One credit database names a director, but no official source or press coverage names anyone, so the field is left empty rather than filled from a single unconfirmed entry.

Where can I watch it?

On SWIPEDRAMA's own platform, linked on this page. The first episodes are free and later ones unlock by watching an advertisement or paying.

Is there a soundtrack?

None was released, and none is listed.

Has it won any awards?

No. No award or nomination is recorded for it anywhere we can check.

Why are some fields on this page empty?

An empty field means we could not confirm a value in a source we accept. The Thai title, the director, the screenwriter, the age rating, the IMDb identifier and the exact per-episode runtime are all empty for that reason.
