BIOGRAPHY
Poom Phuripan Sapsangsawat (Thai: ภูมิ ภูริพันธ์ ทรัพย์แสงสวัสดิ์; born May 6, 1997) is a Thai actor born in Bangkok. He graduated from Mahidol University’s College of Sports Science and Technology, where he was elected a Moon of the University, and made his acting debut in 2019 in the series Winyan Phitsawong.
After years of lakorn work under Channel 8, including his award-winning turn in Mongkut Karma (2023), Poom broke through internationally as the stuntman Joe in the iQIYI Original BL hit My Stand-In (2024) opposite Up Poompat Iam-samang, forming the popular UpPoom pairing. In August 2024 he launched his own company, Phumi Patsorn 1997. He went on to lead the Japanese-broadcast series You Are My Present (2025) and reunited with Up as Wayu in the WeTV crime-romance Love of Silom (2026).
