Sailub Pon
Sailub Pon is the pairing of Thai actors Sailub Hemmawich Kwanamphaiphan and Pon Thanapon Aiemkumchai, both working with the studio Change2561.
The name is the studio’s own billing rather than a fan portmanteau. Change2561 titles its events for the pair as SAILUB PON, two words, in the same house style it uses for its other duos, and Thai press reproduces the Thai form สายลับ-ภณ in the same order. That is why this page writes the name as two words instead of closing it up.
They were first cast opposite each other in This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans (รักนี้ไม่มีถั่วฝักยาว), eight episodes broadcast on Channel One31 from 5 July to 23 August 2024, with Sailub as Chef Oab and Pon as Plawan, called Whale. Both had appeared in Change2561’s earlier series Pit Babe before that, though not as a pair.
Their second production together is The Crow Club (อีกาสมาคม), announced with fitting images in July 2026 that billed them as the first of the series’ four pairs.
A pairing that came out of a studio's repertory habit rather than a casting search. Change2561 had already used both actors in Pit Babe before pairing them, so This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans could open on two performers who had shared a set for a full production without ever playing opposite each other. What the series then asks of them is a deception plot, one character working an agenda the other cannot see, which needs the audience to believe warmth and concealment at the same time. That is a harder register than a straight romance and it is the reason the pairing reads as older than its first credit suggests.
