BIOGRAPHY
Hemmawich Kwanamphaiphan (Thai: เหมวิช ขวัญอำไพพันธุ์; born 12 August 1993), known as Sailub, is a Thai actor and singer with Change2561. He is best known for Alan in the Pit Babe franchise and Chef Oab in This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans, and in 2026 he leads The Crow Club opposite Thanapon Aiemkumchai, known as Pon.
He graduated in political science from Ramkhamhaeng University, and lists cooking, horseback riding and motocross among his hobbies. His television work goes back to 2013, when he played Thi in Ruen Rissaya on Channel 8, and through the 2010s he took supporting and leading parts in Thai dramas, including the lead in Plai Chawak Sin on Channel 8 and supporting roles in Chom Chod Tham on Channel 7 and Wongsakanayat on One31.
His first leading role in a One31 anthology came as Art in Club Friday 13: Love Seasons Celebration, in the story The Last Happy New Year. In 2022 he played Hatsadin in Desirable Flowers (Dong Dok Mai Hatsadin) and Tham in Bad Beauty, followed by Jo in The Family (2023). Wider recognition came in 2023 with Pit Babe, the Change2561 adaptation of a popular web novel about a racing team, in which he joined the main cast as Alan; he returned as Alan in a leading role in Pit Babe 2, and the Pit Babe Asia Tour took the cast to Terra SP in São Paulo on 17 August 2024, with a second Brazilian event for the new season on 5 October 2025.
In 2024 he led his first boys’ love series, This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans, which aired on One31 from 5 July to 23 August. He plays Oab, a stern perfectionist head chef at a famous chef’s table restaurant, and Pon plays Plawan, a model paid to train in his kitchen with a secret mission to make the chef fall for him. The pairing was nominated for Best Couple of the Year (Series) at the Thailand Box Office Awards 2024, and the two sing “Told Ya” together on the Pit Babe soundtrack. Later credits include Jump in Club Friday The Series: Theory of Love (2025), Indy in Maya (2025) and Talay in The Crow Club, a One31 series about a society of outcasts who take on jobs nobody else will do, which premiered on 18 September 2026.
Sailub is my favourite kind of late bloomer: a decade of channel dramas, then a chef’s coat and a scowl, and suddenly he is a BL lead. Chef Oab is terrifying in the kitchen, and the joy of This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans is watching that stern face crack around Plawan, one basil scented scene at a time.
Start with This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans, a short and very bingeable series. If you want speed and drama, move on to Pit Babe for Alan, and then catch him with Pon again in The Crow Club.
