Ball Napatsak Ekphiphatthana and Deam Wutthiphat Rungcharoenareechit were paired by Moonlight Glow Co. Ltd., a production house that Thai press introduced as a newcomer to the BL field, for its first title Magic Move ทำนายทายรัก. Komchadluek described them as a คู่จิ้นป้ายแดง, a brand-new ship, and MGR Online used the phrase แจ้งเกิดคู่จิ้นสุดแซบ when the studio released its official pilot in September 2025.
That pilot is the pairing’s actual debut. MGR Online reported on 19 September 2025 that it passed one hundred thousand views overnight on the Moonlight Glow YouTube channel, which put the pair in front of an audience well before any broadcast episode existed. Filming proper opened on 22 December 2025, and Daily News reported that the two were producing shippable moments from the first day on set.
The series reached One 31 on 21 April 2026 in a Tuesday 22:30 slot, with an uncut version on iQIYI. Ball plays Itthi, a young heir described as accomplished but carrying a deep fear of loss, and Deam plays Rit, described as sincere and loyal to his friends. The premise turns on a deception the characters expect to stay fake.
