The connection between his two most visible credits is not a coincidence. Smile After Tears is headlined by three members of Atom Boyz, and he came out of Atom Boyz II. TIPA Entertainment did not simply cast the group and stop there; it went back to the same competition for the supporting bench as well. A survival show is a casting database with a built-in audience attached, and Taiwanese producers use it that way.
