Pretend Lover tends to get described as the thing he did before Lost to Light. It is fifty episodes long, he is one of only two credited actors in it, and he is in every one of them. That is not a debut credit in the usual sense of the phrase; it is a leading role in a production five times longer than most Thai BL series.

The format is the story here. Fifty episodes released on a single day on iQIYI International, with a cast of two, is short-form vertical drama, the phone-native format that has been taking a large share of Asian streaming output while English-language genre coverage barely registers it. There is a second example with identical specifications elsewhere in this database: Tutoring My Enemy, also fifty episodes, also iQIYI International, also released in one drop, also with exactly two credited actors. Two independent cases with matching specifications is not a coincidence, it is a production line, and it means iQIYI is running a Thai BL format that goes almost entirely unrecorded.

It also strains the way this catalogue is built. A title schema that assumes one record per work with a weekly episode calendar has no field that can express fifty episodes on one day. That is a structural problem worth naming rather than working around.

One disagreement between sources, disclosed rather than smoothed over. His Lost to Light billing is fourth of six in the structured credits, behind Phemadech Vattanapati, Ratchanon Khajitpornphun and Thakrit Phatthanaworakit. Narrative sources describe him as main cast. The structured credit is used here, and the part is called what it is, one of the show’s principal roles but not a top billing, because a database that follows the flattering version of every disagreement stops being useful quite quickly.
