SYNOPSIS

Lost to Light (Thai: อาจจะดัง หรือ อาจจะยัง) is a 2026 Thai boys' love (BL) and T-POP romantic comedy from GMM25, produced by UltimateTroop Official with Excellent Film and directed by Tonnam Piamchon and Snook Nipitpon. The 10-episode series premieres on June 20, 2026, airing every Saturday at 21:30 on GMM25, with the TV version also on the UltimateTroop Official YouTube channel and an uncut edition streaming on iQIYI and iQ.com.

Set inside a struggling music label on the brink of collapse, the story follows an idol group whose dreams of stardom have stalled at a few thousand views. Pushed into humiliating work, from wearing mascot suits to singing children's songs at kindergartens, the members quit one by one until only Jeng stays beside the group. Tasked with rebuilding the team, he recruits an oddball new lineup: a long-tail-boat commentator turned rapper, a former national cover-dance champion now teaching aerobics to grandmas, and a rescue volunteer with a soothing voice.

Then comes a brutal condition. To keep the group alive, Jeng must take in Mai, the artsy, foul-mouthed singer he clashed with the night before. What Jeng does not know is that Mai is secretly the younger brother of the label's chairman, and he joins with one mission: to win Jeng's heart. Alongside them, label boss Sithian must face his past and turn to his high-school ex, Bailiu, now the CEO of a hugely successful rival label.

The series stars members of the T-POP group UltimateTroop: Dome Pheemdej as Jeng, LaFolk Ratchanon as Mai, Aomsatin Thakrit as Boss Sithian, and Ford Phosan as Bailiu. With its underdog-idol heart and a story about chasing a dream just before the lights go out, Lost to Light blends comedy, romance, and original T-POP music, with an official soundtrack performed by Offroad Kantapon (OPEN LABEL).

EDITOR’S VERDICT

Lost to Light pitches itself as an underdog T-POP comedy with a BL heart — a failing idol group, a chaotic rebuild, and a secret-identity romance between the stubborn Jeng and the prickly Mai.

The Premise

The mascot-suit humiliation and oddball new recruits promise broad comedy, while Mai's hidden link to the label chairman sets up the central will-they romance.

What to Expect

  • Showbiz underdog comedy: a struggling group clawing back relevance.
  • Secret-identity romance: Mai's mission to win Jeng over.
  • T-POP flavour: music-industry setting and original songs.

The Verdict

As of this writing the series has not yet premiered (June 20, 2026), so no episodes have aired for review. On premise alone it looks promising for fans of music-industry comedies and secret-identity romance; an editorial score will follow once episodes air.

Editorial draft score: pending premiere.
