Dual Stars

Dual Stars (Chinese: 頂峰, romanised Dingfeng) is a 2026 Taiwanese boys' love miniseries set inside the making of a controversial BL film. Jian Mo (Ray Chen) is a fallen genius actor. Xu Xinlang (Alan Chen) is a volatile top idol. They are forced to co-star in the film, and their initial hostility turns into unexpected chemistry.

Under industry pressure and personal crises, the two become anchors for each other while scandals unfold around them. The story follows whether they will face those challenges together.

Directed by Momo as credited on iQIYI and produced by Lumina Entertainment, the Mandarin-language series places its two leads in the middle of a working film set. The film they are making is itself a BL film, so the story of a reluctant pairing is framed by a story about how such a pairing is presented to the public, with image management, public scrutiny and career crises running through the six episodes. Jian Mo's fall and Xu Xinlang's volatility begin as separate problems, and the shared project becomes the place where they meet. The shape is an enemies-to-lovers arc kept compact: six episodes leave room for the hostility to soften and the scandals to be felt, but no room for a large supporting cast, so the story stays with its two leads.
