Jam Rachata Hampanont

Jam Rachata Hampanont (Thai: รชตะ หัมพานนท์, born 8 February 1995) is a Thai actor, singer and model signed to The One Enterprise.

He was born in Bueng Kan Province. His family later moved to Na Yung District in Udon Thani, where he grew up and went to school, finishing his secondary education at Nam Som Phitthayakhom School. He took a bachelor’s degree in education from Loei Rajabhat University, in art education, music branch, majoring in guitar.

His first credit came in 2021, in the sitcom Rak Na Kho Rap, where he played the male lead Yod opposite Sireethorn Leearamwat. The following year brought the two roles that made his name, both on Channel One 31. In Wela Kamathep he played Sarut, and although he and Sarucha Phetroj were cast as the second couple rather than the leads, they were the pairing audiences talked about. In Khun Chai, later the same year, he played Jiw opposite Thanapat Kawila, and the response to that pairing widened his following considerably, in Thailand and outside it. The role brought him a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor at the 37th Golden Television Awards.

Recognition followed from abroad as well. He won Most Popular Foreign Actor at the Face of the Year Awards 2023, held in Vietnam, and was named among Viral Media’s Shining Asian Stars in 2023 in Singapore. His later credits include Ruean Chon Saeng, Khatakam Cham Mai Dai, Tam Ha Rak Thi Thoe Luem and Heman Tawan Ron, which is his first outright leading role.

He plays Tinn Jitsomboon in the Channel One 31 series Laws of Attraction (2023), the grieving uncle who joins forces with the lawyer Charn to reopen his niece’s hit-and-run case.
