Kashio Atsuki (Japanese: 樫尾篤紀, Hepburn: Kashio Atsuki; born July 13, 1996) is a Japanese actor from Kochi Prefecture, affiliated with the major talent agency Horipro. He has built a steady career in Japanese television, including BL-adjacent and mainstream dramas such as Candy Color Paradox (2022), The Black Swindler (2022), TOKYO MER (2021) and Prisoner of War (2025). In 2026 he took his first BL leading role as Kaji Akihiro, a charming sales ace hiding a narcissistic streak, in the live-action drama Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami (Yatara Yarashii Fukami-kun), reuniting with co-star Yu Miyazaki four years after they first appeared together in the 2020 BL drama Kare ga Boku ni Koishita Wake (The Reason He Fell in Love with Me).

Horipro is one of the largest talent agencies in Japan. A BL lead from that roster is a statement about where the genre now sits.
Kashio Atsuki has worked mainstream Japanese television for years, including TOKYO MER, The Black Swindler, Candy Color Paradox and Prisoner of War. In 2026 he takes his first BL lead as Kaji Akihiro in Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami, carried at once on Tokyo MX, on DMM TV and TVer, and on U-NEXT, FOD and Prime Video Japan.
That distribution list is the point. This is not a specialist release. It runs on terrestrial television and on the major domestic streamers at once, which only happens when a genre has stopped being treated as niche programming.
He and his co-star Yu Miyazaki come from opposite directions: Miyazaki through the 2.5D stage circuit, Kashio through commercial television at a major agency. Japanese BL draws from both pipelines, and a production that puts one of each at the top of the cast is using two different kinds of training in the same two-hander.
