The record lists an Instagram account, but Instagram is not accessible from mainland China and an actor working there maintains an official presence on Weibo instead. A handle on a platform his audience cannot reach is not evidence of an official account, and it is not reproduced.

Almost everyone else recorded here arrived through an agency trainee scheme, a survival show, a modelling contract or a beauty pageant. Chinese danmei productions draw on a talent pool that was trained rather than scouted, and that difference is visible long before anyone reaches a screen.
