Boss Tongtong
Boss Patthakarn Thanasiriudom and Tongtong Kitsakorn Kanogtorn were put together by WeTV and Tailai Entertainment for the WeTV Original NOUR The Series, announced in Thai press in April 2026. MGR Online’s report on the blessing ceremony introduced the show as carrying two freshly built pairs at once, Boss with Tongtong and Toey with Phum, rather than one central couple.
The two arrived from opposite ends of the industry. Tongtong had been a One 31 leading man since the mid 2010s, reaching audiences through The Star season 12 and then through titles including Wanthong and Khun Chai; English Wikipedia, citing Manager Daily of 6 April 2026, records NOUR as his first Boys’ Love leading role. Boss came the other way, from modelling, with NOUR as his first acting project. Tailai Entertainment announced him as a signing on its own account.
On screen the pairing is procedural before it is romantic. Boss plays James, an investigator sent from Bangkok, and Tongtong plays Captain Ken, a local officer; Komchadluek describes Ken as the mysterious young officer who changes James’s path for good. Episodes 1 and 2 were shown at a special-cut event at Quartier CineArt on 19 August 2026 before the series opened on WeTV on 25 August 2026.
The pairing is built on a procedural setup rather than a romance premise. Boss plays James, an investigator brought in from Bangkok, and Tongtong plays Captain Ken, a local officer, and Thai coverage frames the appeal as two men with different working methods forced into partnership, with the relationship deepening across the case rather than starting from attraction. That structure puts the weight on contrast: Boss is the newcomer from modelling making his acting debut, Tongtong the established One 31 leading man taking a first Boys' Love role. Press notices consistently describe the result as chemistry that surfaces slowly and reads as intense once it does.
