NOUR is a Thai boys' love mystery-fantasy released as a WeTV Original in partnership with Tailai Entertainment, and it opens on a city where a run of fires refuses to behave like ordinary arson. James (Patthakarn Thanasiriudom) is a young officer attached to a Bangkok investigative unit, methodical and stubborn in a way that does not make him popular with colleagues who would prefer the case file stayed thin. Ken (Kitsakorn Kanogtorn) is a lieutenant posted out in Nakhon Sawan, working the same pattern from the provincial end. The investigation pushes the two of them together well before either has decided to trust the other, and the series spends its early episodes letting that wariness sit rather than resolving it.

What the fires expose is not a single culprit but a chain of harm running back through several generations, and NOUR treats that inheritance as literally as it does legally. On the forensic side are Jirat (Pongsakorn Mettarikanon), the medical examiner reading what the fires leave behind, and Chita (Chawonwat Thongyoo), the new assistant assigned to him as the caseload grows, a second pairing the production has billed alongside the leads. Around the four of them the story widens to take in Peter (Peeranat Veeranipitkul), Pear (Namnung Van De Ven), Leng (Siravit Imsee), Panin (Anton Kruger), Tangmay (Kanoklak Vanichprapa) and Tee (Ohm Nutthapoom), each holding a piece of a history the city has spent decades agreeing not to discuss.

NOUR is written and directed by Wasakorn Khumklaowiriya from an original screenplay rather than an adapted novel, and the structure reflects that. The supernatural element arrives as something to be investigated rather than a rule set out in advance, so the procedural and the fantasy tighten around each other as the episodes go rather than running in parallel. The register is deliberately cool, fog, night exteriors, interviews that lead nowhere, and the romance is built inside the casework instead of beside it, with corruption in the institutions meant to close the case supplying most of the pressure. Ten episodes began streaming weekly on WeTV from 25 August 2026, opening what the platform has presented as a new original universe built for the series.
