Ash
SYNOPSIS
Ash (煙灰) is a Hong Kong Boys' Love series made in Cantonese for Youku, adapted from the novel by Feng Nong. Wikipedia describes it as filmed entirely in Hong Kong with a predominantly local crew, which is unusual for a BL production carried by a mainland platform.
Mok Fei-foon (Kingston Yi Xuan) is a police officer working undercover. Hui Leuk-to (Leo Peng Ziye) runs a business group tied to the city's criminal underworld. Both men are concealing what they actually are, from everyone including each other, and the closer they get the more expensive the lie becomes.
A counterfeiting operation and a war between rival groups keep tightening around them. Nine episodes, directed by Brando.
