Angelina Chiu Kwan-yu

Angelina Chiu, credited in Cantonese as Chiu Kwan-yu, is a Hong Kong actor born on 22 June 2000 in Hong Kong. She has three credits, all released in 2026: a studio feature, its director’s cut, and a Cantonese-language web drama.

In February she appeared as Tina in Night King (夜王), a 133-minute Hong Kong drama set in 2012 around a fading East Tsim Sha Tsui nightclub whose manager finds his business bought out by his own former wife. Jack Ng Wai-Lun directed and co-wrote it for Edko Films with Guava Pictures and Maoyan Entertainment, and it stars Dayo Wong Chi-Wah and Sammi Cheng Sau-Man. In April the film returned to cinemas as Night King Director’s Cut (夜王：導演版), with roughly thirty minutes of additional material. She is credited in that release too.

The nightclub in the story is Club EJ, the last one still standing in Tsim Sha Tsui East. Its manager, Foon Kwan, is played by Dayo Wong Chi-Wah, and his former wife, the business executive known as Dame V, is played by Sammi Cheng Sau-Man. When the club’s owner dies and his widow plans to sell, the manager and the newly appointed chief executive have to work together to keep it open.

In August she joined Ash (煙灰), playing Su Qinglian. The series follows an undercover police officer, Mok Fei-foon, and Hui Leuk-to, who runs a business group tied to Hong Kong’s criminal underworld, as the two men grow close while hiding what each of them is. It is adapted from the novel of the same name by the Chinese writer Feng Nong. It premiered on Youku on 14 August 2026 with two episodes, then weekly on Fridays, and runs nine episodes of about thirty minutes each. She is part of the supporting cast alongside the Hong Kong screen actor Pat Ha.
