BIOGRAPHY
Pongsakorn Mettarikanon (Thai: พงศกร เมตตาริกานนท์; born February 25, 1992), known professionally by his nickname Toey, is a Thai actor.
His screen credits date back to 2016, with the Thai dramas Golden Bangle and Puntai Norasingh, followed by My Hero Series (2018), Cupid’s Command (2018) and Candle in the Sun (2019). He went on to A Cunning Destiny (2022) and Tie Me (K)not (2022).
More recent work includes the feature The Paradise of Thorns (2024), the series The Invincible (2024), Phra Ruang: Rise of The Empire (2025) and Top Form (2025). In 2026 he played Jirat, a forensic medical examiner, in the WeTV and Tailai Entertainment boys’ love mystery-fantasy series NOUR, where WeTV billed him and Chawonwat Thongyoo as a second pairing alongside the leads. He also appeared in Pinanong the same year.

Pongsakorn Mettarikanon has been working since 2016, through Golden Bangle, My Hero Series, Candle in the Sun, A Cunning Destiny, the feature The Paradise of Thorns in 2024, The Invincible, Phra Ruang and Top Form. In Nour he plays Jirat, a forensic medical examiner, and WeTV promoted him with Chawonwat Thongyoo as a second pairing.
Chawonwat had one prior credit. The show’s main pair is arranged identically: seven years of mainstream drama on one side, no documented work at all on the other. A production doing that twice is not improvising, it is applying a rule about where to put the risk.
The Paradise of Thorns is worth marking separately. It is a Thai film about a same-sex couple and inheritance law, and it reached audiences that BL series do not. Performers who have done both sit in a small group.
