The production put a newcomer opposite someone with seven years of mainstream television. That imbalance is the most interesting thing about this casting.

Kitsakorn Kanogtorn has been working since Rising Girl in 2019, through the period drama Wanthong, My Dear Rescuer, To Sir, with Love, My Sassy Princess: Snow White, Royal Couple and The Wicked Game. In Nour he plays Ken, a police lieutenant, and WeTV billed him with Patthakarn Thanasiriudom as the main pair.

His partner in that pairing has no documented credit before this one. Pairing an established actor with a complete newcomer is a deliberate structure: the experienced half carries the scenes while the other is introduced, and the risk of the whole thing sits on one person rather than two.

Almost none of his earlier work is BL. Seven years of lakorn and period drama, then a lead in a genre series at thirty. Actors crossing in at that point in a career are usually brought for competence rather than for fandom, which is a different kind of hire from the one this catalogue usually documents.
