Chawanon Sarapat’s credits run through Sin of Love, The Golden Silkworm, Life Coach, To Sir, with Love, V.I.P and Laws of Attraction, then into Century of Love, House of Flames and Love in the Moonlight. For One31’s period series The Edge of Horizon the screenplay credit covers all eleven episodes.

For most of the genre’s history BL was written by people who only wrote BL, often adapting web novels for small studios. A lakorn writer taking an eleven-episode period commission is evidence that the form has become an ordinary assignment inside the mainstream industry rather than a specialism outside it.

Several of those scripts were co-written with Wantawil Suknoy, which makes them a recurring writing partnership rather than a one-off collaboration. Writing pairs are common in Thai television and almost never credited as pairs in the way acting pairs are.
