Eng Issaraporn Kuntisuk
BIOGRAPHY
Eng Issaraporn Kuntisuk (Thai: อิง อิสราภรณ์ คุณติสุข) is a Thai screenwriter recognized for her work across some of GMMTV’s most discussed Boys’ Love and Girls’ Love drama productions. She studied film at Chulalongkorn University, one of Thailand’s most prestigious institutions, before entering the Thai television industry as a scriptwriter.
Issaraporn is part of a recurring screenwriting team that frequently collaborates with fellow writers Yui Kanokphan Ornrattanasakul and Fleur Irene Insot. Together, the trio has shaped the scripts of several prominent Thai BL and GL series. Her notable screenwriting credits include The Heart Killers (2024-2025), My Golden Blood (2025), Petrichor (2024), Be My Favorite (2023), Dead Friend Forever (2023), Pit Babe (2023), and This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans (2024).
As a screenwriter rather than an on-screen artist, Issaraporn maintains a relatively low public profile. Her contributions center on story adaptation, dialogue, character development, and dramatic structure across the GMMTV drama lineup.
BLGLFlix editorial view
Thai boys love scripts are written by teams, and she works in one of the most consistent of them.
Eng Issaraporn Kuntisuk (อิสราภรณ์ คุณติสุข) studied film at Chulalongkorn University and writes for GMMTV, regularly alongside Yui Kanokphan Ornrattanasakul and Fleur Irene Insot. The three of them are credited together often enough to be treated as a unit rather than as three people who happened to share a project.
That matters for how this genre should be read. Western criticism reaches for a single author and asks what the writer was doing with a story. Thai television is written the way American network drama is written, in rooms, with structure, dialogue and adaptation distributed across several people and a producer arbitrating. Attributing a series to one name misdescribes how it was actually made.
Her credits include The Heart Killers, My Golden Blood, Petrichor, Be My Favorite, Dead Friend Forever, Pit Babe, and also This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans, several of which are among the most discussed titles the industry has produced this decade. Two of them have records here. The rest are named because the work exists whether or not a page does.
Her years active are entered as present with no starting year, since no source establishes when she began. Her birth date is not recorded, for the same reason.
