Ali King

Alonzo Raphael Elequin (born May 15, 1996), who works as Ali King, is a Filipino actor and online video creator. He plays Key Kalunsod in Boys’ Lockdown (2020), described in the press at the time as an introvert, sensitive and close to the people around him. It was his first professional acting job.

He did not come from the industry. He took a Tourism Management degree at Far Eastern University and then worked as a creative at one of the largest advertising and public relations agencies in the Philippines. When the pandemic moved that work home he was already building an audience online, in vlogs and short video, and it was there that the producers at Ticket2Me found him and invited him to audition.

The series was directed by Jade Castro, written by Danice Mae P. Sison and produced by Ticket2Me Bit by Bit Company, running to six episodes on the Ticket2Me platform, on YouTube and later on the Heart of Asia Channel. He and his co-lead Alec Kevin were promoted as KeyChen, and a second season was later developed with a different cast.

He writes songs and plays guitar, which published coverage mentions alongside his online work rather than as a separate career. No release has been documented, so no music credit is claimed on this page.
