BIOGRAPHY

Pu Yasaka Chaisorn (Thai: ปู ยะสะกะ ไชยสร) is a Thai actor with roughly thirty feature films and about a dozen television series to his name. He plays Suchat in the 2026 revenge thriller Payback, appearing across all ten episodes.

His earliest dated credit is 2006, when he played Noo-Hin’s father in Noo Hin: The Movie, followed by Muek in Happiness of Kati (2009). In 2021 he played Manit in The Medium, the Thai-Korean found-footage horror produced by Banjong Pisanthanakun and Na Hong-jin.

Later films include Anatomy of Time (2022) as Saw, The Lost Lotteries (2022), You & Me & Me (2023) as a teacher, Operation Undead (2024), Death Whisperer 2 (2024) as Puang and In Youth We Trust (2024). His 2025 and 2026 releases number more than a dozen and include Halabala, Graveyard Horror, Ha Gom: The Darkness of the Soul as Thiam, Ko Ga Loak Village as Ghost Ah Pae, The Last Shot, Mor Lam Rhythm and Wooden Buddha.

On television he appeared in Voice (2019, sixteen episodes), Delete (2023, eight episodes as a stableman), The Believers (2024, nine episodes as Prairach), Twin Swap (2025, twenty-four episodes as Jak) and Dalah: Death and the Flowers (2025, six episodes as Sanchai).

In Bangkok Breaking: Heaven and Hell (2024) he plays a character named Bodyguard Yasaka. He is nicknamed Pu (ปู) and posts on Instagram as yasaka_chaisorn.

Payback follows Sun, a former debt collector who now works as a delivery rider. After he learns that his ex-boyfriend Bank is an actor called Sunny, he enters the entertainment industry to take revenge and crosses paths with Jay, a senior director at Dream Entertainment. The series aired for ten episodes on One 31 from May 30 to August 1, 2026, with iQIYI carrying it internationally. Min Thanakorn Wichanukhor and Toptap Jarukit Kaewmoonrueang lead the cast, Woodie Pongchaiphat Sethanand directs, and the screenplay is credited to Sammon and Amnard Thangsomboon.

An actor whose credits run to roughly thirty films takes a ten-episode run as Suchat in Payback.

He worked with the writer Sammon on Spare Me Your Mercy (2024), where he played Som in two episodes. Sammon supplies the screen story for Payback, which makes it their second production together.

His Som role covered two episodes and his Suchat role covers ten, so the second collaboration gives him five times the screen run of the first.

What stayed with me about Yasaka is how often his list returns to the dark end of Thai film. Death Whisperer 2, Graveyard Horror and Halabala sit beside his work in The Medium, and Payback adds a revenge thriller to that run. In my view the most useful way in is The Medium for the film and Twin Swap for a long television part. Across twenty years his parts vary widely in size, from a father in 2006 to more than a dozen releases across 2025 and 2026.
