This Privacy Policy explains how BL & GL Flix (“we”, “us”, “our”), operating the website blglflix.com (the “Site”), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit the Site. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
BL & GL Flix is an independent entertainment website that publishes news, guides, reviews, and fan-oriented coverage of Boys’ Love (BL) and Girls’ Love (GL) dramas. It is written and operated by one individual publisher based in Türkiye, not by a company or an editorial team, and “we” is used below only as a convenience. You can reach us any time at info@blglflix.com, which is also the address for any data protection request.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Fan Mood Board submissions. When you post on our community wall, we store the message text and an optional nickname you choose. You are not required to provide your real name or email to post.
- Direct contact. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
- Technical and log data such as IP address, browser type, device, referring pages, and timestamps. We use a hashed form of your IP address solely to prevent spam and abuse on the Mood Board (rate-limiting).

3. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its features;
- To display community content and moderate it for safety;
- To prevent spam, abuse, fraud, and security issues;
- To respond to your messages and requests;
- To serve and measure advertising through our partners, if and when advertising is enabled on the Site.
4. Advertising & third-party vendors
No advertising is currently served on this Site. We intend to display ads through Google AdSense. When that happens, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. The rest of this section describes how that will work and is published in advance so you know what to expect.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to the Site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Community Mood Board posts are temporary and are automatically deleted after 7 days. Log and security data are kept only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your request.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, Turkey’s KVKK (Law No. 6698), and the CCPA (California). These may include the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell your personal information.
8. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is 100% secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
