Your Sky: Hare Nochi Koi

Your Sky: Hare Nochi Koi (Your Sky ハレのち恋) is a Japanese Boys’ Love drama that premiered on TOKYO MX on 1 August 2026 in the channel’s late-night Saturday slot. It runs nine weekly episodes of around 25 minutes, and it is a remake of the Thai series Your Sky.

Hinata Funase (Ayuta Fukuda) has the specific problem of being unable to say no. A senior has decided he is interested and will not take a hint, and Hinata keeps agreeing to things he does not want because refusing feels crueller than going along. To get out of it he asks Sora Hanamura (Isshin Aihara), a cold and largely unbothered senior, to pretend to be his boyfriend.

Sora agrees, which is the first surprise. The arrangement then does what these arrangements do, except that the series is more interested than most in why Hinata got into the situation at all. The lie is not the obstacle here so much as the safe space: it is the first relationship Hinata has been in where the terms were stated out loud, and it turns out to be much easier to be honest inside something you have both agreed is fake.

The Japanese version is directed by Shugo Okabe and Hiroki Shibazaki, from scripts by Marina Furuse, Rei Ure and Hatsui Shiina, and produced by Mandee Work with The Works and TOKYO MX. Both leads come from music groups: Fukuda from DXTEEN and Aihara from ONE LOVE ONE HEART, with DXTEEN’s Taichi Taniguchi and NEWBEAT’s Park Min-seok also in the cast.
