Hsu Kai is a Taiwanese actor and online video creator. He studied in the Department of Drama at Taipei National University of the Arts. He began appearing on screen in the late 2010s with a supporting part as Jiang Ji Mi in the 2017 Taiwanese television series Breeze in the Love River, and followed it with a lead role in the 2020 Public Television Service production Eclipse. Alongside acting he runs a YouTube channel called Secret Realm Hunter Kai, which documents hiking routes and outdoor locations in Taiwan, and in October 2020 he published a related book of the same name. In 2023 he played Fan Ze Rui, one of the leads of the boys love series Kiseki: Dear to Me, and reprised the role in the companion special Kiseki+. The same year he appeared in the series Way Back Home and the film Lost in Forest. On his birthday in 2024 he launched a clothing label called KAIoneer, and in 2024 he took a lead role in the film Out of Nowhere.
