Yin Anan Wong
BIOGRAPHY
หยิ่น อานันท์ ว่อง, known internationally as Yin Anan Wong and born Anan Wong, is a Thai actor born on 1 October 1998. He first came to attention through photographs taken at a university open house event, which led the talent agency Rookie Thailand to approach him in 2019. His acting career began the following year, and since then he has moved from short student dramas on streaming platforms to broadcast television, a fantasy series and, in 2026, a police romance on WeTV, while also co-owning the production company behind some of his own projects.
His first leading role came in 2020 in the En of Love anthology, in the Love Mechanics segment, where he played Vee, a senior student, opposite Wanarat Ratsameerat as the junior, Mark. Audiences began calling the pairing YinWar, a name that combines the two actors’ nicknames, and it became the label attached to their later projects. The segment was adapted from a web novel, and it started the working partnership that runs through most of his later credits.
In 2021 he took a part with a different shape in The Best Story, a three episode LINE TV series directed by Heavy Ratthapon Keawmeesri that aired on Fridays from 9 to 23 July. This time he played Dew, described as the most popular boy in his class, while Wanarat played Best, a student who is unlucky in everything he tries, falls for Dew and connects with Dew’s friends through the school music club. Where Vee was the senior with a junior drawn to him, Dew is the classmate admired from a distance, so the two roles place the same pairing in different positions.
The story that launched the pairing returned in 2022 as a full series on WeTV. Love Mechanics was directed by Lit Phadung Samajarn and aired between 18 June and 6 August 2022, with Yin again as Vee and Wanarat as Mark. Perth Veerinsara Tangkitsuvanich played Ploy and Prom Ratchapat Worrasarn played Nuea. The series is an expanded version of the 2020 segment, so he returned to the same character after two years. His contract with Rookie Thailand ended in January 2022, in the same year the series aired.
The next stage of his career centred on production. He co-owns Argentis, the company formerly known as YWPB, and it produced Jack & Joker: U Steal My Heart!, a lead role for him on Channel 3. The series aired on Channel 3 HD with a simulcast on iQIYI across 12 episodes, from 9 September to 25 November 2024, and was directed by Bundit Sintanaparadee, known as Tee. Its premise pairs two opposites. Joker, played by Wanarat, is a thief who steals from corrupt wealthy people, while Jack is a former taekwondo athlete turned debt collector who prefers to protect people peacefully. The supporting cast included Prom Ratchapat Worrasarn as Tattoo and Mark Siwat Jumlongkul as Aran. Jack is a working adult with a trained physical skill, a clear step from the school settings of The Best Story, and the production by his own company is the clearest example of how his acting and company work now overlap.
Around that project he also played Thua in the fantasy drama Sad Power, a change of genre from the romances on either side of it, and a special episode of Jack & Joker followed in 2025.
In 2026 he leads Police in Love for WeTV as Inspector Thiartha Phiromsamorn, a police officer with a streak of bad luck who agrees to a six month contract marriage with his junior colleague, Police Senior Sergeant Major Mangkorn Phianwanich, played by Wanarat. The series adapts a novel and reunites him with the co-lead of En of Love: Love Mechanics, The Best Story, Love Mechanics and Jack & Joker. Read across these titles, a pattern shows: the characters grow older with each project, from students to a debt collector to an inspector, while the partner opposite him stays the same.
