Book Kasidet Plookphol

Kasidet Plookphol (กษิดิ์เดช ปลูกผล), known as Book, is a Thai actor and singer signed to GMMTV. He was born on 25 October 1996 in Bangkok and earned a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, majoring in chemical engineering.

Music came first. During his university years he was a member of the boy group Cute Chef under JomeFam, which released singles in 2018 and also included his later GMMTV colleague Sahaphap Wongratch.

His acting debut followed in 2020 with the supporting role of Kit, a tutor, in Friend Forever (บทเพื่อน บทเพลง) on Channel 9, and the same year he signed with GMMTV. In 2022 he landed his first main role as Theo in Enchanté, opposite Force Jiratchapong Srisang as Akk. The pairing became known as ForceBook, and the two were already close friends who had attended the same school from kindergarten to high school. That year he also played Sun in The Three GentleBros.

In 2023 he starred as Cher in A Boss and a Babe, a gamer who wants to make it in esports and ends up interning at a company where his boss Gun, played by Force, keeps handing him strange tasks. The pair returned in Our Skyy 2, and Book played Mew in Only Friends. In 2024 he played Shone in Only Boo!, made a guest appearance in Peaceful Property and led Perfect 10 Liners as Arm.

In 2025 he lent his voice to Inspector Rikuo Hasebe in the Thai version of the animated film Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback, and he played Phleng, whose full name is Botphleng Thayadol, in Melody of Secrets on One 31. He returned as Mew for guest episodes of Only Friends: Dream On in 2026.

Lovers & Gangsters casts him as Yong, the younger brother of Klookfoon Gang leader Zeng, and Yong falls for Sen, the rival gang leader played by Force. Directed by Songsak Mongkolthong, the series is set to premiere on One 31 and oneD on 30 October 2026.

Singing has stayed part of his work. He sang My Luck for A Boss and a Babe and Dark and Light for Melody of Secrets, and he recorded Second Thoughts and Love Suspect with Force for Our Skyy 2 and Perfect 10 Liners. In 2025 he was one of the main artists of the concert Love Out Loud Fan Fest 2025: Lovemosphere. Together with Force he has headlined ForceBook fan meetings in cities including Yokohama, Manila, Taipei, Hong Kong, Rome and Macau, and in January 2024 the two attended the Dolce&Gabbana party during Milan Menswear. He is also cast as Sand, a supporting role, in the upcoming series Overdose.
