About this archive
Documentary is used here less as a category of factual film than as a note about how a record is put together. One entry is a Japanese drama about a couple who went viral after an interview about their local partnership oath system, and who then have to keep performing a relationship in public after it has ended, so the presence of a camera is written into the plot. The other is a Thai behind-the-scenes special from Studio Wabi Sabi, released as a curtain raiser ahead of the season it introduces and made of cast interviews and preparation rather than story. Read the tag as a flag for non-fiction framing, then check each record’s content type for what it actually is.
