About this archive
T-Pop is the music side of Thai BL and GL, and it lives very close to the dramas. The companies making these series often run labels too, and several groups here were built from actors already signed to them. So a new single and a new episode can come out of the same building in the same month. Busy people!
Sound wise, it is a wide mix: dance pop, R&B, hip hop and ballads, and one group can jump between styles from release to release. The working pattern is steadier. A debut usually comes as a digital single, the music video goes up on the label’s own channel, and fan events keep running between releases.
LYKN, BOYFRIENDS, DEXX, PERSES, SIZZY and Swee:D are all here. My tip: watch the dates on each group page. Thai acts can form and wrap up within a short span, so knowing when a group was active helps you match it with the series its members were filming at the time.
