My Story the Series

My Story the Series is a ten-episode Philippine boys' love web series from Oxin Films, directed by Xion Lim and written by JP Lopez. It ran free on the company's YouTube channel between 15 April and 17 June 2023, with episodes of roughly fifty-eight minutes posted in several parts each. MyDramaList classifies it 18+ for violence and profanity, which puts it at the more adult end of the Philippine boys' love range.

The series returns to Sky, played again by Miko Gallardo, some time after the relationship that occupied My Day has ended. What follows is less a courtship than a recovery: the business of getting through the weeks after something has stopped, an awakening Sky had not previously had occasion to examine, and the gradual appearance of Win, played by Teejay Marquez, who has arrived at a point in Sky's life when he is in no condition to be sensible about anyone. Miss Becky, Fifth and Drake fill out the world around him.

Oxin Films has treated these titles as a continuing sequence rather than as separate projects. The company's own channel bills My Day as the first season, My Story as the second, and a further series, Our Story, as the third, so this record covers the middle chapter of a trilogy the producers announced as such. The earlier series is held here as its own record, and the studio's later work, Sky Valley in 2024 and Boyfriend Express in 2026, is also in this catalogue.

The gap between the two seasons is itself worth noting. My Day closed in October 2020, at the height of the first Philippine boys' love surge; My Story arrived two and a half years later, into a field that had thinned considerably as the studios that tried the genre once moved on to other things. Very few of the companies that made Filipino BL in 2020 were still making it in 2023. Oxin Films was, and the production values in this second season reflect three years of continuous work rather than a single attempt.
