Miko Gallardo

Miko Gallardo is a Filipino actor, commercial model and online video performer from Puerto Princesa in Palawan. He plays Sky in two of the records in this catalogue, three years apart and in the same continuity: My Day the Series (2020) and its sequel My Story the Series (2023), both made by Oxin Films.

He is a late starter by the standards of this list. He has said he entered the industry at twenty, while working in real estate, and his first significant exposure came in 2019 through the Bidaman segment of the noontime programme It’s Showtime. A film role as Jeremiah in the comedy Momshies! Ang Soul Mo’y Akin followed, and he had built a following through online video before any of it. He did his early schooling in Puerto Princesa before moving to Dubai.

My Day the Series was produced by Oxin Films with Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation and directed by Xion Lim, and it put him opposite Aki Torres as Ace, a food business owner, with Gallardo as a pastry intern. The sequel premiered on the Oxin Films YouTube channel on 2 May 2023 and returns to Sky years later, working at a restaurant; Ace does not appear in it, and the relationship is written as having ended before the series begins. Teejay Marquez plays the new lead opposite him as the chef Win.

Away from performing he founded Art Talent Management, a management company set up to represent Palaweño performers, and has spoken about producing as well as acting, including plans for an online short film project drawing on local talent and Palawan settings. He remains listed on the Oxin Films artist roster.
