BIOGRAPHY

Rapheephong Thapsuwan (รพีพงศ์ ทับสุวรรณ), nicknamed Bright, is a Thai actor and model signed to GMMTV. He was born on 11 May 1996 in Nakhon Ratchasima, finished secondary school at Assumption College Nakhon Ratchasima and graduated from Thammasat University with a bachelor’s degree in sports management from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences.

He began acting in 2018 with a supporting role in the Channel 3 drama Kham Si Thandar (ข้ามสีทันดร), released in English as Crossing the Ocean, and joined Channel 3’s Supernova project the same year. He stayed with Channel 3 as a contracted actor until 2023. His credits there include Suthee in Mia Jampen (Wife on Duty) in 2021, Sean in Game Prattana in 2022 and two characters at once in Buppha Roi Rai (A Cunning Destiny) the same year.

In 2021 he appeared in the music video for It’s Okay Not To Be Alright by the singer PP Krit. His breakthrough came in 2023 as Khun Yai in the period BL series I Feel You Linger in the Air, opposite Nonkul Chanon Santinatornkul, on One 31. He sang Fun Dee (Blissful Dream) for its soundtrack. That year he also played Tony in Thi Sut Khong Hua Jai and Non in The Betrayal on Channel 3. He was nominated for Rising Male Star of the Year at the Maya TV Awards 2024, and in 2024 he played Ben in the film Exit.

He signed with GMMTV in 2025 and took main roles as Pokpong in Mu-Girl Miracle Matchmaking on Mono 29 and Makorn in The Fridge on Monomax. In 2026 he plays Master Phak in Ticket to Heaven on GMM 25, Panthep in the Channel 3 drama Pin Anong and makes a guest appearance in You Maniac.

Lovers & Gangsters casts him as Zo, the newest member of the Klookfoon Gang, whose love story is with the gang’s leader Zeng, played by Great Sapol Assawamunkong. Force Jiratchapong Srisang and Book Kasidet Plookphol play the other couple, Sen and Yong. The series is set to premiere on One 31 and oneD on 30 October 2026.

He has also met audiences on stage. He performed in Channel 3 Super Fan Live! : SUPERNOVA on 23 August 2020 and held the fan meeting Bright in Macau on 10 December 2023. Before his Channel 3 dramas grew into bigger parts, he made a guest appearance as a character named Bright in Trap Fah Mi Tawan in 2020. Ahead of him after Lovers & Gangsters is the supporting role of Kimhan in the upcoming series The Invisible Dragon.

If you met Bright as Khun Yai in I Feel You Linger in the Air, you already know he wears a period setting really well, and Lovers & Gangsters drops him straight back into the past, this time 1956. What makes me smile is the twist in his part: Zo is the new kid in the gang who ends up in a love story with the boss. Going from a period romance on One 31 to a period gang romance on the same channel feels like a homecoming with brass knuckles, and I am very ready.
