Emi Thasorn Klinnium
BIOGRAPHY
Emi Thasorn Klinnium (Thai: ทสร กลิ่นเนียม, nickname เอมี่) is a Thai actor, singer, model and host signed to GMMTV. In 2026 she plays Chan / Sun in the GL series Moonshadow (เงาใต้พระจันทร์), her first leading role in a Girls’ Love production.
She entered the industry in 2020 through an extra role in Why R U?, having answered a casting call posted on Facebook, and her first substantial parts followed quickly. She played Phor Chamlaeng, a main role, in the Thai PBS series Wong Waen Tai Samneuk (2020), then Paew in The Whole Truth and Nana in the second season of Girl from Nowhere, both in 2021. Nana is an antagonist who manipulates and blackmails her classmates. In 2022 she played Aim-Orn, a schoolgirl who becomes beautiful overnight, in Netflix’s School Tales The Series, and Mint in 609 Bedtime Story. Roles in Hoon Payon and Last Twilight (2023), Beauty Newbie and Perfect 10 Liners (2024) and Us (2025) followed. She signed with GMMTV in 2023.
Her 2024 work also included Ann in Beauty Newbie, Lin in The Rebound and Ink in The Trainee. In 2025 she played Pam, one of the two leads, in Us, took the main role of Phicha in the TrueID series Mouse and appeared in Friendshit Forever as Tulip and in Burnout Syndrome as Ing. In 2026 she is Kris in a guest appearance in Girl Rules and Mira in Peach and Me.
In 2025 she won Rising Female of the Year at the Kazz Awards, the Rising Icon Award at the Howe Awards and a Culture and Entertainment Award at the 2025 Thailand Headlines Person of the Year. Her duet More Than Words with Bonnie Pattraphus Borattasuwan took Best Y Series Soundtrack of the Year at JOOX Thailand. She was also nominated at the Howe Awards 2025 for the Shining Female Award and, with Bonnie, for Best Couple.
In February 2026 she and Bonnie debuted as the vocal duo EMIBONNIE under Riser Music, which is also the name their on-screen partnership is known by. Moonshadow is their second series together after Us (2025).
She completed secondary school at Nawamintharachinuthid Horwang Nonthaburi School and holds a Bachelor of Communication Arts from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Silpakorn University.
Emi Thasorn Klinnium went from an extra role found through a Facebook casting call in 2020 to leading a GMMTV series in 2026.
Born on 25 April 1998, she plays Chan in Moonshadow, opposite Bonnie Pattraphus Borattasuwan. The two are known together as EmiBonnie.
Her degree in communication arts from Silpakorn University sits alongside the acting career, and her 2025 honours came in four different forms: a rising performer prize, a rising icon prize, a soundtrack award for the duet and a headline recognition for the year.
In my view the most interesting stretch is 2021 to 2022. She first became known for Nana, a cold antagonist in Girl from Nowhere, then played a schoolgirl who is suddenly admired in School Tales The Series, and the contrast shows an actor who is comfortable changing tone between projects. If you want to see how that range ended up in a lead role, I would watch the second season of Girl from Nowhere first and Moonshadow after it.
