Moonshadow

The Thai title, เงาใต้พระจันทร์, means a shadow beneath the moon, and the word for moon sits inside one of the two names the series gives its lead. Chan is Thai for moon. The same woman also answers to Sun, and the pair of names holds both halves of a single optical relationship: the moon carries no light of its own and shines with light borrowed from the sun.

A shadow cast by moonlight is faint by definition, because the light making it is secondhand. That is a fair description of how the central relationship begins. An arrangement is not a courtship, and what the two women have at the start is a borrowed shape, taking on substance only as they stop treating it as a stand-in for something else.

The returning first love then works as the second body in the diagram. Something that was there before moves back into the light, and the present the two of them assembled acquires an outline it did not previously have.

• The soundtrack runs to five songs and every one of them is performed by the two leads, together or apart: "Red Kiss" and "Moonkey" as duets, "Glitch" (เพลงรักที่ยังไม่ลืม) by Emi Thasorn, "Your One" (จะรักให้จำ) by Bonnie Pattraphus, and "Chua Khrao Rue Khang Khuen Talot Pai" (ชั่วคราวหรือค้างคืนตลอดไป) as a third shared track.
• "Moonkey" puts the two character names into one word. Its Thai title, กุญแจพระจันทร์, reads literally as moon key, which is Chan and Key joined together.
• Pure Kanin and Jeaniich wrote three of the five tracks: "Red Kiss", "Glitch" and "Moonkey". "Chua Khrao Rue Khang Khuen Talot Pai" is credited to Narongvit Techathanawat.

GMMTV presented the series at its GMMTV 2026: Magic Vibes Maximized lineup event on 25 November 2025, roughly nine months ahead of broadcast. Sataporn Panichraksapong and Darapa Choeysanguan are credited as executive producers, with Sita Vosbein, Noppharnach Chaiyahwimhon and Kanittha Kwunyoo producing. Kwunyoo therefore carries both the directing and a producing credit on the same title. Cinematography is shared between Tanai Nimcharoenpong, Theerapan Boossabong and Weeranuch Laometakone, a three-name camera credit for a ten-episode run.
