NamtanFilm
NamtanFilm is the pairing of GMMTV actors Tipnaree “Namtan” Weerawatnodom and Rachanun “Film” Mahawan. They first appeared together in Last Twilight, which premiered on GMM 25 on 10 November 2023, Namtan as Porjai and Film as Gee, both in supporting roles.
They were promoted to leads for Pluto (19 October 2024 to 4 January 2025), GMMTV’s second Girls’ Love series after 23.5, running twelve episodes. Namtan plays a dual role as the twins Ai-oon and Oaboom Ingsamug; Film plays May, whose name in full is Metawee Mekasiri. After Oaboom is injured on her wedding day, Ai-oon is asked to end her sister’s relationship with May, and instead falls for her while May, who is blind, believes she is still with Oaboom. It is the performance that made the pairing.
Their third production together is Girl Rules, twelve episodes broadcast from 9 March to 1 June 2026, with Namtan as Prim and Film as Bambi.
Correction note. An earlier version of this page said the pairing began in 2024 and that Pluto was their first and only joint role, and it described Girl Rules as upcoming. All three statements were out of date or wrong. Last Twilight preceded Pluto by eleven months, and Girl Rules finished airing on 1 June 2026.
Nine genre labels sit on Pluto the Series, the pairing’s first lead series.
Pluto the Series carries drama, mystery, romance and melodrama, then adds hidden identity, slow burn, family, suspense and tearjerker. That spread describes structure as much as mood. Mystery and hidden identity are plot machinery, melodrama and tearjerker set the register, and family and slow burn describe stakes and pace. A straightforward campus romance would not need nine labels to be indexed accurately.
The production facts around it are plain enough. Twelve episodes of 58 minutes ran from 19 October 2024 to 4 January 2025 on GMM25 under GMMTV. The series is tagged GL and rated 13+. Joint runtime works out to 696 minutes, a little under twelve hours of shared screen time.
Reading a pairing by its genre spread rather than its credit count changes what a reader should expect from it. This one crosses suspense and mystery territory while staying inside a romance frame.

The Pluto dynamic runs on a gap the audience can see and one of the characters cannot. Namtan plays a woman impersonating her injured twin; Film plays the girlfriend who is blind and has no way to catch the substitution. What keeps it from tipping into farce is how little either performer reaches for: the scenes are played quiet, and the tension comes from what is being withheld rather than from anything declared. That restraint was already visible in the smaller supporting roles they shared in Last Twilight a year earlier, and it is what the pairing has been asked to do again in Girl Rules.
